Our Story

When we started PickleballFanatics.biz, our goal was to support the meteoric rise of pickleball in the Tampa Bay area with a focus on Central Pasco. More specifically, to provide our friends and Land O Lakes neighbors with pickleball lessons and tournaments.

100% of the proceeds from our 1st tournament went toward the funding of pickleball courts being painted on the tennis courts. What was once only a destination for only indoor play, the LOLRC is now available for both indoor and outdoor play.

We continue to give lessons on the newly accessible outdoor courts; and all of our tournaments benefit the Rec Center for the addition of permanent outdoor courts. We will maintain our support until we reach our goal; after which time we will continue to foster our relationship with the staff at the LOLRC and pursue court development where needed throughout the county.

Ratings for pickleball players are usually given as a 2-digit or 4-digit number. An individuals skill level is determined by how well they can execute different shots, such as the forehand, backhand, serve, dink, third shot, and volley, as well as their ability to understand strategy.

DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) is Pickleball's most accurate Global Rating System. All of PickleballFanatics.biz tournaments are DUPR accredited. Competing in our Tournaments will help you establish a personal ranking, from which you can build to higher levels.
